The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has revealed that it has identified several ministries and agencies in Nigeria involved in job racketeering, and it promises to take appropriate action against them in the near future.
This announcement was made by the commission’s chairman, Musa Aliyu, during a high-level seminar held to mark the 2024 International Anti-Corruption Day.
Aliyu also highlighted that many young people in the country are strongly resisting involvement in corrupt activities, which he believes signals a future for Nigeria built on integrity.
Addressing the issue of sexual harassment in higher institutions, Aliyu assured that the commission is prioritising the matter and that efforts to eliminate this problem will yield results soon.
