Travellers from Kenya, Eswatini, and Zimbabwe can now access Russia using a convenient electronic visa, as the Russian Embassy in Kenya recently disclosed.
“The Russian Government has broadened the list of nations whose citizens can enter the Russian Federation with a single electronic visa. The updated list now comprises the following African countries: Kenya, Eswatini, and Zimbabwe,” the embassy stated on Sunday via a post on X.
This initiative is expected to ease travel between Russia and these nations, enhancing tourism, business, and cultural exchanges.
As per the information regarding Russia’s single eVisa, the document allows citizens of these three nations a single entry into Russia, permitting them to stay for a maximum of 16 days.
Visa details for Russia-Africa relations indicate it is valid for 60 days starting from the registration date and can be utilised for multiple purposes. Introducing the eVisa system marks a crucial advancement in simplifying travel protocols and fostering interpersonal diplomacy between Russia and Africa.
