Three additional men have filed lawsuits against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging that the music mogul drugged and raped them between 2019 and 2022.
The complaints, lodged independently by US lawyer Thomas Giuffra with the New York Supreme Court on Thursday, outline disturbing claims from the plaintiffs.
Two of the alleged victims assert that Combs “personally offered” them alcoholic drinks at his events, rendering them unconscious prior to the assaults.
Giuffra told the BBC that more than 60 people have approached his office with allegations against Combs. After investigating the claims, his office decided to pursue three cases in court.
The first case centres on an alleged assault in 2019 at New York’s Marquee nightclub. The plaintiff claims he attended a private afterparty hosted by Diddy, where he was given a drink that left him unconscious. He said he briefly regained consciousness to find himself being recorded as Combs assaulted him, and later received a payment of approximately $2,500 from the hip-hop mogul.
The second plaintiff alleges he was attacked during a party at Diddy’s East Hampton residence in the summer of 2020. After consuming an alcoholic drink provided by Combs, he said he fell unconscious. He further claimed that while fading in and out of consciousness, Diddy and members of Bad Boy Entertainment sexually assaulted him.
The third case involves a former employee who began working for Diddy in 2006. The plaintiff claims that in February 2020, during a meeting to discuss unpaid wages, Combs gave him a drugged drink. He alleged that he woke up to find Combs assaulting him and was warned against reporting the incident to police.
Diddy’s legal representatives have rejected the lawsuits as baseless, describing them as “full of lies”. In a statement to the BBC, they said, “We will prove these allegations false and seek sanctions against every unethical lawyer who filed fictional claims against him.”
