The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced an extension to the registration deadline for the 2025 First Series of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates. Originally set for January 6, 2025, the new deadline is now January 20, 2025.
This extension offers prospective candidates additional time to complete their registration process. WAEC urges all intending candidates to ensure they complete their registration before the revised deadline.
Candidates must finalise their biometric capture and complete their online registration by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. For more details on the registration process, candidates can visit WAEC’s official website or contact accredited registration centres across the country.
