In the United States, Cardi B has now dropped to fourth place in sales rankings, behind Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat, and Megan Thee Stallion. Globally, however, she retains the third spot, following Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat.
Billboard’s rankings, which are based on worldwide sales and performance on the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts, underscore the dominance of these artists in the rap genre.
In broader music categories, Taylor Swift has been crowned the biggest artist of the 21st century, highlighting her unparalleled influence and commercial success. Canadian rapper Drake has been named the biggest rapper of the century, while Maroon 5 holds the title of the biggest group. Destiny’s Child remains the biggest girl group of the 21st century, reflecting their enduring legacy.
