The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has announced the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.
This announcement was made on Wednesday through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
“All the affected cabinet members are to hand over all government properties in their care to the accounting officers of their respective ministries,” the statement said.
However, the governor has chosen to retain two cabinet members due to the essential nature of their roles. The commissioners who will continue in their positions are the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr Kayode Ajulo, SAN, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs Omowunmi Isaac.
Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed his gratitude to the cabinet members for their service and contributions to the advancement of Ondo State during his tenure and wished them success in their future endeavours.
