Erling Haaland has signed a new contract with Manchester City that years ensures he will remain at the Etihad until 2034, as announced by the Premier League champions on Friday.
The 24-year-old forward’s previous contract was set to end in June 2027, but he has now pledged his future to the club for the next decade.
“I am really happy to have signed my new contract and to be able to look forward to spending even more time at this great club,” said Haaland.
“Manchester City is a special club, full of fantastic people with amazing supporters, and the environment helps bring the best out of everybody.
The Norwegian forward joined City from Borussia Dortmund in 2022 and has netted 111 goals in 126 appearances.
Txiki Begiristain, the club’s departing director of football, said, “Everyone at the club is incredibly pleased that Erling has signed his new agreement.”
