Rwandan President Paul Kagame will pay an official visit to Türkiye on Thursday, following an invitation from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
This visit will mark the first-ever official engagement between the two nations at the presidential level, according to a statement from Fahrettin Altun, Türkiye’s Communications Director, shared on X.
The leaders are expected to discuss measures to strengthen bilateral relations alongside key regional and global issues. The visit signals a significant step in Rwanda-Türkiye relations, building on prior interactions between Kagame and Erdogan during various international events.
