Hezbollah has demanded that Israel fully adhere to the ceasefire agreement signed last November and withdraw its troops from southern Lebanon by the 60-day deadline outlined in the deal.
The Lebanese group stated this in response to Israeli media reports claiming that Tel Aviv had requested an additional 30 days from the United States to complete the withdrawal.
Under the terms of the ceasefire, Israeli forces were to vacate all positions in southern Lebanon by January 26, allowing Lebanese forces to take control.
In return, Hezbollah is expected to retreat north of the Litani River, about 30 kilometres from the Israeli border.
Hezbollah stressed that Israel must withdraw from the occupied areas and that Lebanese troops should be deployed across the region to facilitate the safe return of residents to their villages.
The group warned that any failure to meet the deadline would be seen as a breach of the agreement and a violation of Lebanese sovereignty.
Since the ceasefire began, Israeli forces have committed 639 violations, with seven reported in the past day alone.
