Bowen University, Iwo, has formed a three-member committee to collaborate with the police in investigating the recent killing of a 200-level student, Paul, who was stabbed to death.
The Osun State Police Command confirmed that detectives have begun efforts to identify the assailants involved in the tragic incident, reported at Iwo Divisional Headquarters on January 22, 2025. The student was from the Department of Computer Science.
Bowen University’s Public Relations Officer, Havillah Aliyu, praised the police’s swift response and assured that the university management is working closely with the authorities to ensure the perpetrators are caught. The management has also increased security on campus to prevent further incidents.
