Players and staff of the Super Eagles have had to board a boat to Benin Republic ahead of their African Cup of Nations qualifiers fixtures against the Squirrels.
There have been earlier indications that the team would travel by water but NFF President, Amaju Pinnick said the decision wasn’t finalised.
If images making the rounds on Thursday morning are anything to go by, the Super Eagles are headed to Porto Novo, the Beninoise capital city and will be ferried by the Lagos State Waterways Authority.

The Rivers Niger and Benue, Nigeria’s largest rivers constitute the inland waterways from Cross River, through the Southern and middle belt parts of the country, down to Badagry in Lagos to the Beninoise capital, Porto Novo.
The Super Eagles have a full collection of their squad and will book an AFCON ticket if they pick at least a draw from the clash against their neighbours.
