Former National Legal Adviser of the APC, Muiz Adeyemi Banire (SAN) in an exclusive interview with NewsCentral TV’s Jubril Folami, expressed his thought about the build-up to the 2023 general elections.
When asked if he would be a supporter of the ambition of his former boss if his “Presidential ambition is true” he simply responded:
“With due respect to him and leaving the issue of competence aside or otherwise, the major problem I have, me personally is I tend to believe that whoever must be president of Nigeria, in view should not be more than 60.”
The former commissioner strongly believes that the country is more divided along religious lines than ever and considers a same religion ticket as an impossible
