A Former Nigerian Beauty queen and doctoral student, Najeebat Sule has been shot dead in Philadelphia while sitting in her car right in front of her family home.
This shooting was recorded less than 24 hours after spending the previous night with her friend Magaji.
She had been in her car, reportedly exchanging messages with Magaji when an unidentified man walked up to her with a gun and fired several shots.
Najeebat’s father said he heard the gunfire and dashed out just in time to see what was happening. He reported seeing a man shoot at his daughter. He gave a hot chase just as the assassin fired his last round but lost him.
Najeebat Sule was pronounced dead 30 minutes after she was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.
The Police are still searching for a motive and have made no arrests despite having CCTV cameras everywhere.
