Egyptian authorities have supplied dozens of heavy equipment to Gaza to begin reconstruction in the Palestinian enclave after the recent Israel-Palestine conflict.
Excavators, bulldozers, cranes and trucks flying Egyptian flags lined up along the border to begin crossing into the Gaza Strip on Friday afternoon.
They will take part in the rubble removal in preparation for the rebuilding of thousands of houses and businesses that were destroyed in Israeli airstrikes.
Egypt has been involved in providing assistance to the Gaza Strip to improve living conditions as it recently brokered the Israel-Hamas cease-fire deal which ended the cruel 11-day conflict, that left more children than soldiers dead in the enclave and hundreds of thousands in desperate need of emergency assistance on both sides.
