Nigerian Security Forces have arrested suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari following accusations he belongs to an international drugs cartel.
Kyari, who had already been suspended for allegedly aiding fraudster Hushpuppi in laundering money in the United States, has now been charged with a cocaine scheme.
Nigeria’s Deputy Inspector General of Police Federick Taiwo Lakanu, speaking to News Central about the development, called it a “shock,” adding that Nigerians are yet to recover from the Hushpuppi case.
