Veteran actor Jide Kosoko has been officially designated as the leader of the Oteniya branch of the esteemed King Kosoko royal family in Lagos.
Kosoko took to his Instagram page to share the news, disclosing that he was introduced to the Oloriebi in Council on Saturday, October 12. Furthermore, he was reaffirmed as the family’s official Ambassador.
In his social media post, Kosoko stated: “I am now officially the Head (Olori ebi) Oteniya branch of the King Kosoko Royal Family, as I was presented to the Oloriebi in Council on October 12. I have also been re-confirmed as the official Ambassador of the Family. I pray that Almighty God, in his infinite mercy, gives me the wisdom to contribute my quota to the unity and progress of the Family.”
As the newly appointed head of the Oteniya branch, Jide Kosoko is expected to have a significant role in advancing unity, progress, and cultural heritage within the royal family.
