Advancing Access to Cancer Care in Africa

Despite advancements in cancer treatment, not all patients have equal access to these benefits.

The disparity in cancer care between high and low resource countries persists, with socio-cultural barriers and inadequate oncology infrastructure exacerbating the divide between the rich and the poor.

To address this issue, the theme of this year highlights the need to bridge the care gap and improve cancer care in Africa.
