AFCON: CAF Announces Dates for Super Eagles Final Matches

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has scheduled Nigeria’s final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches for November 14 and 18, against the Republic of Benin and Rwanda.

According to an NFF statement on Tuesday, the Matchday 5 clash against Benin Republic will take place at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny on November 14, with kickoff set for 8 p.m. Nigeria time.

CAF has appointed Issa Sy from Senegal as the referee, assisted by compatriots Djibril Camara (Assistant Referee 1), Nouha Bangoura (Assistant Referee 2), and El Hadji Amadou Sy as the fourth official.

Rene Williams Sere from Côte d’Ivoire will serve as the commissioner, while Inacio Manuel Candido from Angola will be the referee assessor.

The Matchday 6 encounter against Rwanda is scheduled for November 18 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, kicking off at 5 p.m. CAF has appointed Moroccan officials for this match, with Samir Guezzaz as the referee, assisted by Zakaria Brinsi (Assistant Referee 1), Abdessamad Abertoune (Assistant Referee 2), and Kech Chaf Mustapha as the fourth official.

Prosper Harrison Addo from Ghana will act as the match commissioner, while Somalian Ali Mohamed Ahmed will serve as the referee assessor.
