AFCON Grand Finale to Be Broadcast in Over 170 Territories

The CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023, Africa’s premier sporting event, concludes tonight with the highly anticipated grand finale between hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Nigeria at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Ebimpe, airing at 9:00 p.m. (WAT).

The match will be televised across 173 territories worldwide, marking the most extensive coverage in AFCON history and reaffirming the tournament’s widespread global appeal.

Viewers in 54 African nations, as well as numerous regions across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, South America, North America, the Caribbean, and the South Pacific, will have access to the Final broadcast.

Host nation Cote d’Ivoire and Nigeria, both aiming to add to their trophy cabinets, will clash for the second time in the competition. Nigeria clinched a 1-0 victory in their initial encounter at the same venue.

The Ivorian team, known as Les Elephants, seeks their third title after triumphs in 1992 and 2015, while Nigeria’s Super Eagles target their fourth title following victories in 1980, 1994, and 2013.
