African Artists Feature in Marvel’s ‘Wakanda Forever’ Soundtrack

Afrobeats and Amapiano to the world as Nigerian and Mzansi artists feature in the Soundtrack Album of Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever.

Marvel Studios on Wednesday, November 2, revealed the tracklist for the music from and inspired by “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and among the list are several names of African artists majorly from Nigeria and South Africa.

Grammy award-winning artist Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burnaboy, featured solo on the track ‘Alone’.

Tems performed Bob Marley’s ‘No Woman No Cry’ as a solo act.

Mavins star Rema was featured on two tracks, ‘Wake Up’ with Bloody Civilian and ‘Pantera’ with Aleman.

YBNL artist, Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy DML, also comes in solo on the track ‘Coming back for you.

Nigerian artist Ckay features British songwriter and singer Pink Pantheress on the track ‘Anya Miri.’

The Nwigwes, US rapper Tobechukwu Dubem Nwigwe (Tobe Nwigwe) teams up with his wife, Fat, on the track ‘They want it but no.’

Also, South African music stars – DBN Gogo, Sino Msolo, Kamo Mphela, Young Stunna and Busiswa featured on two tracks. “Love & Loyalty (Believe)” x “Jele”

The album is out on November 4, ahead of Wakanda Forever, which comes to theatres on November 11.
