The 4th African Youth Sustainable Development Goals, SDG, Summit has kicked off in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital.
Tirumar Abate, State Minister for Planning and Development, noted that the summit focused on the youth’s potential responsibilities in the African Union’s Agenda 2030 and 2063.
Tirumar used Ethiopia as an example, pointing out that the country’s 10-year growth plan includes the SDG Agenda 2063.
The African Youth Sustainable Development Objectives (MDGs) Conference, according to the Ministry of Planning and the Ministry, is intended at teaching young people on the continent about sustainable development goals and increasing their participation in such activities.
The African Youth SDGs Summit is a Pan-African gathering that brings together African youth in order to empower them to participate in the objectives’ implementation, monitoring, and accountability.
