Oluwadamilare Mogaji, better known as Tyler Vybes, is an Afro-Pop artist who will release an Extended Play (EP) album later this year. He has already released seven new songs.
The album “Homework” consists of Afro-beat and Afro-Soul genres of music that address a variety of significant themes, from societal ideals to politics, wrapped in catchy, groovy voices.
The cool 15-year-old Nigerian-American student, who attends Senior Secondary School in Abuja, Nigeria, maintains a remarkable performance in both academics and stage performances.
Mogaji, who wowed the crowd with his charm and finesse throughout the performance, hopes to make a name for himself in the Nigerian music scene by writing original songs that would captivate listeners of all ages.
“It is a lot of hard work and then sacrifice. In the next five years, I see myself at the O2 Arena Stage. I see a Wizkid, Burna-Boy Ashake, Rhema. I will distinguish myself with quality music in a way that all spheres of people can listen to, watch and enjoy my music.
I enjoy writing and singing, but I prefer singing. I’m a great football player. I game. I enjoy programming, and I’ll tell young people who want to follow in my footsteps to abstain from narcotics and to keep God in mind since only God can reward your labors with success, he continued.
The event served as a visual record of Tyler’s talent, according to Tyler’s father, Bola Mogaji, Chief Executive Officer of Hastag Entertainment and Trybe Vybes Manager.
“I intend to present top record labels and global distribution companies who may be interested in partnering with us on the Tyler Vybe journey.”
“At 15 , the Afro-Pop and Afro-Soul genres of music have found a new exceptional talent in Tyler Vybes. You needed to have been at his sell-out concert in Abuja.
“It was a night to behold, full of new amazing music, energy, stage presence and great connections with the fans”, he added.
The young artist, whose parents are Yoruba and Igbo, was born in the United States of America and only moved to Nigeria when he was seven years old.
