Popular Nollywood actress, ChaCha Eke has for the second time announced the end of her 9-year marriage to her movie producer husband, Austin Faani.
ChaCha took to her Instagram on Tuesday, to reveal in a post she titled “Leave Now Alive or Leave as a Corpse,” that she was done pretending that all was well with her marriage to Faani.
The beautiful actress admitted that she has been living a lie all along, and was no longer willing to continue dying in silence.
“Many have died pretending all is well whist wishing, hoping and praying for a better tomorrow. I don’t want to “die” or go inexplicably “missing.”
“I sincerely and publicly apologise for living a lie all these years. True to random speculations, there has been trouble in my “perceived paradise. For the second time in two years, I am here again on social media boldly declaring that I am done with my marriage. My long overdue/ relentless stance on this is of course no news to Austin Faani, the doctors and my parents.
“If push comes to shove and I am suddenly incommunicado, my lawyers, the welfare department and the Nigerian Police Force have my testimonials in recorded video clips/ statements set for public release on all social media apps and national newspapers,” she wrote.
This is the second time ChaCha has cried out on social media over the troubles in her marriage.
About two years ago, the mother of four shared a video, saying she was done with her marriage. Five days later, she was filmed on a hospital bed, where she claimed to be diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, which was responsible for her social media “rants” about her marriage. ChaCha continued with her husband, and even had another baby – her fourth – after all was said and done.
The couple have been lovey-dovey ever since then, until Nigerians woke up to the Instagram post where the actress sent an “SOS” sign, announcing a final exit from her marriage.
