Prior to the signing of Ronaldo, Al Nassr had an 800k following on Instagram, but since the announcement of the Portuguese star as their new signing, the club’s Instagram followers had risen to a remarkable 7.3 million. This implies that the club garnered 6.5 million new followers in just three days.
The post in which Al-Nassr announced Ronaldo’s acquisition has now become the club’s most-liked post on Instagram, with over 32 million likes in three days.
Ronaldo has one of the largest fan bases in sports and is the most followed person on Instagram, with over 527 million followers.
Al Nassr is one of Saudi Arabia’s most successful clubs, having won an estimated 27 titles across all competitions.
The club has nine Premier League titles, six King’s Cups, three Crown Prince’s Cups, three Federation Cups, and two Saudi Super Cups to its name. They won two GCC Champions Leagues and an unprecedented Asian double in 1998, winning both the Asian Cup Winners’ Cup and the Asian Super Cup.
