American Singer, songwriter, and dancer, Kehlani has spoken up about an alleged sexual assault that occurred at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.
Taking to Instagram to call out and denounce the person who violated her, Kehlani says she is “endlessly triggered and mindblown” after being assaulted as she was wrapping up the European leg of her Blue Water Road Trip tour.
Kehlani wrote “I’ve made video after video after video and deleted it because I don’t want any video of me as angry, triggered, crying, upset as I am anywhere. “I don’t care how arousing you deem my music, my performances, my fun with my friends dancing at clubs, or ME… That does not give any of you the right to cross a boundary like sticking your hands up my skirt & pulling my underwear to TOUCH MY GENITALS as I am being escorted through a crowd after performing.”
The R & B artist revealed her past trauma made the incident even more triggering for her: “This… made me sick to my stomach. as a victim of such assault, I am endlessly triggered and mindblown.”
Kehani’s ex-boyfriend Kaalan Walker was officially convicted of rape in October of 2022 and sentenced to 50 years behind bars. The singer celebrated his incarceration and praised his victims for “not giving up.”
