Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim feels that the “atmosphere feels different” at Manchester United following a recent upswing, but acknowledges that their self-belief is delicate as they gear up to resume play after the international break.
United, currently in 13th position in the Premier League, is 12 points away from the top four with only nine matches remaining. However, they remain unbeaten in their last seven matches across all competitions, despite Fulham being eliminated from the FA Cup on penalties during that stretch.
“I’m really confident. I feel that the players are more confident, the energy is different, but I also know that this could change with the results. So we are focused on maintaining the energy. We worked on some things that we have a lot to improve.” said the Portuguese manager, who took charge at Old Trafford in November.

United has seven fixtures scheduled in April, including a crucial Europa League quarter-final against Lyon and challenging Premier League encounters with Manchester City and Newcastle.
Defenders Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro have returned to availability, and Amorim reported that Ayden Heaven’s injury is not as severe as initially feared.
“It’s really important to have all the players available for them to fight, for us to rotate during matches,” said the United boss. “Different characteristics give us different opportunities to win football matches.
“But I think it’s a very good moment in our season. I know that we will have at least three games in the Premier League now that are really tough. But I think the team is prepared to face those games.” He said.
