The transfer of Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana to Manchester United is about to be finalised after a price was agreed with Italian outfit Inter Milan.
In relation to Manchester United’s agreement to acquire Andre Onana from Inter Milan, Fabrizio Romano presented his “Here We Go” last night.
He reported: “André Onana to Manchester United, it’s finally here we go! Clubs are closing in on the agreement then Onana will travel for medical tests and contract signing.
“Man Utd set to request VISA for Onana for USA trip. Ten Hag will have the new goalkeeper he wanted.”
In addition to wanting Andre Onana to join the team for the preseason trip, Manchester United will work to bring him to the city as soon as feasible.
Gianluca di Marzio believes that there might be a very little issue that needs to be resolved first.
He reports: “There is no certainty about Onana’s trip to Manchester because the Cameroonian does not yet have a visa permit.
“Maybe he’ll stop off elsewhere first, then head to the UK as soon as he can.”
Of course, Manchester United is not likely to receive this as breaking news at this point. The club will be aware of the difficulties in organizing transportation to get him to Carrington as soon as feasible.
Therefore, there may be a brief delay, but Onana will undoubtedly be officially introduced as a Manchester United player by midweek.
