President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Nairobi, Kenya ahead of the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Environmental Programme.
The Nigerian leader, who arrived Nairobi Tuesday night, was received by the Kenyan Minister of Transportation, James Nchanga.
Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs was also at the airport to receive President Buhari.
President Buhari is expected to deliver Nigeria’s national statement at the UN event, which holds from March 3-4.
Also on his delegation is Chief Executive Officer of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, Minister of State for the Environment, Sharon Ikeazor, National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd), and Director General, National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Abubakar. He will on Saturday, March 5 proceed to London for routine medical checks.
