Arsenal’s Premier League title hopes took another hit as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, leaving their title charge in jeopardy.
The Gunners struggled in attack, with injuries to key players like Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, and Kai Havertz limiting their offensive options.
Mikel Arteta’s side registered just one shot on target throughout the match.
For Forest, the draw was enough to keep them in third place, ahead of Manchester City. Arsenal’s lack of forward power was evident, with midfielder Mikel Merino filling in as a centre-forward despite a disappointing performance in their 1-0 loss to West Ham on Saturday.

The visitors were close to breaking the deadlock when Riccardo Calafiori’s first-half shot hit the inside of the post, and Merino tested Forest keeper Matz Sels with a header.
At the other end, Forest’s Chris Wood had a late chance but fired straight at Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.
Despite three defeats in their last four games, Nuno Espirito Santo will see this as a valuable point as Forest continue their push for a Champions League spot.
