Authorities in Ethiopia accuse Rebel Group of Massacre, Uncover 87 Bodies in Mass Grave (News Central TV)

Authorities in Ethiopia have uncovered about 87 bodies in a mass grave in Oromia region, an incident that has triggered reactions in the media.

The Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) have been accused of being behind the killings of more than 160 civilians, but the group had responded to the recent accusations.

The rebel group has been alleged to be responsible for killing ethnic minorities and other civilians in the region.

A local Administrator in Oromia Ibsa Basha disclosed that the recent killings occurred in Gidami district after Authorities pushed out the group from areas it had control of.

OLA split from the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) in 2018 after that group signed a peace deal with the Ethiopian Government to end the Oromo conflict.

The Ethiopian government now considers the OLF to be a legal political party but the OLA to be a terrorist group
