YouTube has deleted Emmanuel TV, the official channel of late Nigerian Prophet TB Joshua which has over the years, served as one of the platforms for broadcasting activities of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).
The decision stems from a disturbing documentary released few weeks ago by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), and openDemocracy’s report on the huge number of video evidences corroborating the documentary.
The BBC three-part documentary had alleged that the man of God perpetrated shocking atrocities in the church, including sexual abuse and extreme torture of members.
YouTube stated that the channel was terminated “for violating our hate speech policies.”
Recall that two weeks ago on January 17, DSTV delisted the SCOAN Channel from its platform following the controversial documentary, much to the angst of fervent Emmanuel TV fans.
