In the BBNaija season 6 house last night, Pere confirmed to Beatrice that he has lost interest in Maria. Beatrice who seems to be craving Pere’s attention and hugs, was seen asking him why they hardly converse, seeing as they sleep next to each other, she wanted to know if he was avoiding her. In her words:
“We are bedmates, we should be gisting. But it seems you are avoiding me.”
Pere defended himself saying:
“I did not distance myself from you…You haven’t done anything at all, it’s just me going back to my reserve shell. I was trying to be careful and conscious, so not to send the wrong signal.”
When Beatrice asked about Maria, Pere exclaimed:
“Maria is not my girlfriend, I WAS attracted to Maria but I’ve moved on. I’m a grown man, I know what I want. I’m 36, 36 no be beans!!”
Finally, Beatrice emphasized: “don’t be doing this thing you do to me again o. Play with me the way you play with other people, hug me the way you hug other people too”, to which he responded: “Yh sure, I will. Most definitely.”
