According to Botswana‘s health and wellness ministry, experts are looking into a new coronavirus mutation that has been found in four people in the country.

The mutation have been registered as a new variation of Omicron, according to social media posts. According to the ministry, the four cases are being closely monitored in order to learn more about the variant’s prevalence and severity.

According to the ministry, it is still exploring the features of this omicron subdivision, with international help, in order to provide more information on its behaviour.
