The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that the abducted Fouani brothers and two others have been rescued. The trio identified as Abbas, Amtal and Youssef were abducted while they were reportedly returning from work by boat on Sunday.
The spokesperson for the command, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed they have been freed. He disclosed that five people including the boat driver and his assistant were rescued by the Lagos Marine Police with support from the Navy.
He said, “Yes five of them were rescued. Three Lebanese, the boat captain and his assistant.”
