Popular Tejuosho market in Lagos is currently on fire. A few hours after a fire outbreak in Victoria Island, Lagos, another fire outbreak occurred in Yaba area of the state. It was gathered that the fire broke out this afternoon, November 1, inside a Military Barrack in Yaba, Close to Tejuosho and the Yaba train terminal.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established, however, News Central will keep a close watch on the event as it unfolds. Both the Federal and Lagos State fire departments claim that their personnel are on the scene putting out the fire, although specifics are still sketchy.
Several commuters and drivers who were going that way had to turn back due to thick columns of smoke that filled the air.
