Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court Abuja has granted bail to Nigerian whistleblower, Isaac Bristol Tamunobifiri, the man believed to be behind the prominent whistleblower account PIDOM Nigeria, ₦5million bail with one surety in like sum.
Tamunobifiri, popularly known by his X name PIDOM Nigeria was arraigned on Friday, September 27, on a nine-count charge filed against him by the Inspector-General of Police at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
A few weeks ago, Justice Nwite denied him bail. Recall police spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi had said PIDOM “illegally” accessed restricted data and posted directives from the office of the IGP.
