Former presidential candidate and activist Omoyele Sowore has been granted N10 million bail by the Federal High Court in Abuja, along with one surety who had to be a law-abiding citizen and possess property in the Federal Capital Territory.

Sowore was ordered by the court on Thursday to deposit his foreign passport with the court registrar.
The activist is charged with 16 counts of cybercrime.
When it was read to him on Wednesday, Sowore entered a not-guilty plea to all 16 counts.
