The Federal High Court in Abuja has nullified the Governorship Primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, which had produced Asue Ighodalo as its candidate on February 22.
Justice Inyang Ekwo declared that the PDP nomination process did not comply with the party’s constitution, citing the unlawful exclusion of 378 delegates who were supposed to vote at the primary election.
The suit was instituted by Kelvin Mohammed, representing the aggrieved delegates.
