Several students at Saint Academy have been trapped in a two-storey school building that collapsed in the Busa Buji community of Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State, Northcentral Nigeria.
According to witnesses, the building collapsed around 8:30 am on Friday, leaving students who were writing exams trapped. Rescue operations are ongoing, and security personnel, including soldiers and police, have arrived at the scene.
Distraught residents and parents rushed to the school to check on their wards. Many were seen grieving, while security personnel and emergency workers were busy trying to rescue survivors from the rubble.
