Former Big Brother Naija Season 3 housemate, Rico Swavey is dead. The news was made public on Thursday morning by another former housemate, Tobi Bakre.
Tobi, alongside other celebrities, had made a public appeal for financial support for Rico Swavey, who had been put on life support following a vehicle accident.
On Tuesday, Rico was involved in a horrifying vehicle accident, and emergency personnel tried to revive him at the site. In a later statement, Swavey’s team had called on the public to pray for him, adding that “his situation is critical”.
“Hello everyone, Rico Swavey is not disposed to handle his socials right now as he was involved in a ghastly accident and is currently on life support. While his situation is critical and doctors are on him, We implore your support and prayers,” the statement reads.
