Governors from four states in Nigeria have arrived the Supreme Court ahead of the court proceedings for the day.
The governors are Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State, Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, and Abba Yusuf of Kano State.
The court is expected to deliver judgments in governorship disputes in eight states –Ebonyi, Zamfara, Kano, Abia, Lagos, Plateau, Bauchi and Cross River state.
Ahead of the Supreme Court judgment, there is tension and apprehension among supporters of the ruling NNPP, those of the opposition APC, and residents of the state.
News Central learnt that supporters of both parties and other Kano residents were apprehensive about today’s judgment, with many of them taking panic measures in anticipation of the unpredictable judgment.
Many parents have their children at home today (Friday) due to uncertainties. Shop owners, shopping malls and major markets are yet to open.
