Reports indicate that a gas explosion has occurred on Aba road by court road in Sabongari area in Kano State, Northwest Nigeria.
Details of the incident is still sketchy but sources say the blast occurred at the Sabon Gari area of the State.
At least three residents of were killed while many are currently trapped in an explosion.
Confirming the incident, Kano State Commissioner of Police CP Sama’ila Dikko stated that “it is a gas cylinder explosion.
The seller’s shop is on the ground floor of the building where the school is located. So, when the cylinder exploded, it brought down the building and the pupils got injured. There wasn’t a bomb blast.”
