In a recent website update on Thursday, the council stated it had reassessed the fees. The council attributed the fee adjustment to evolving market dynamics and increased delivery costs of exams.
The revised prices for the range of tests will take effect from March 1, as stated by the council.
Recall that in September 2023, the British Council had raised the IELTS cost from about N90,000 to N107,500, citing the need to maintain high-quality testing standards.
