CAF postpones AFCON U-23 Qualifiers

The Confederation of African Football, CAF has announced the postponement of the 3rd round qualifying matches of the U-23 AFCON from June to September.

According to Africa football’s governing body, this is to give countries time to prepare for both the Africa Cup of Nations and the U23 tournament.

New dates for the teams involved have been confirmed.

Eight teams will qualify for the tournament to be hosted by Egypt in November, with the best three countries qualifying for the 2020 Olympic Games.
