Famed American rapper, Sean “Diddy” Combs on Friday, said the allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault filed against him by ex Casandra Ventura, famously known as Cassie were untrue.
Diddy accused his ex-girlfriend of trying to financially extort him with the lawsuit.
The rapper’s lawyer, Ben Brafman described Cassie’s lawsuit alleging years of abuse, as “offensive and outrageous”.
Cassie, a professional singer filed the lawsuit against Combs in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on Thursday.
She accused the rap artiste of sexual exploitation and physical assault from when she was 19 and he was 37, when they began working together in 2005.
She said the abuse spanned for a decade; the years they spent together professionally and as lovers.

“After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,” Cassie said in a statement” Cassie said.
Diddy’s denial of the allegations comes amid resurfacing old interview clips of people talking about the rap mogul’s “questionable behaviour” towards Cassie even in public.
Most of the people seen in the interview discussing Diddy’s worrisome behaviour, are those who were in his circle.
In one of the videos from 2022, rapper Yung Joc speaks on Diddy randomly urging Cassie to get her hair shaved the next day, while they were hanging out.
