Music legend Celine Dion has responded Taylor Swift’s snub at the Grammy Awards on Sunday during the presentation.

The songwriter and singer walked forward at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA to deliver the Album of the Year award, the same award she received 27 years ago.

Celine Dion made her first public appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards despite her painful fight with Stiff-Person syndrome.

The incurable neurological disorder has rendered singing and walking difficult for the 55-year-old singing sensation.

Celine Dion stepped out to present the last award of the night on Sunday but was snubbed by Taylor Swift at the event.

She was seen hugging and greeting everyone on the stage except Celine Dion, who she took the award from without looking or greeting.

An insider however disclosed that the Power of Love hitmaker only intended to show the world “she was back”.

“I don’t think Céline cared and they talked backstage afterwards. But Céline was just gracious and happy to be there. Of course, the right thing would have been for Taylor to acknowledge her,” the anonymous source stated.

“She wanted to show everyone that she’s doing alright. She has good days and bad days … it’s a painful disease, but it’s not a death sentence. The hope is that she will be able to perform.”

Taylor Swift has been heavily criticised for her behaviour toward the music legend despite a viral photograph of both singers hugging at the backstage of the award night.

Celine Dion recently announced her upcoming documentary, “I Am: Celine Dion,” directed by filmmaker and Oscar nominee, Irene Taylor.

The documentary intends to reveal an intimate view of the singer’s life after she was diagnosed of the disorder.
