Chadwick Boseman Wins Posthumous Emmy awards (News Central TV)

Saturday and Sunday evening were a big deal in Hollywood, the Creative Arts Emmys took place and honored some outstanding work in a variety of television program genres, weekly series, and exceptional work in the animation, reality, and documentary categories.

One of the Nights big winners was Chadwick Boseman who was honoured with a posthumous Emmy Award for his outstanding character voice-over performance in the hit series, What if. His performance as Star-Lord T’Challa in What If… T’Challa Became a Star-Lord? Episode earned Chadwick his first Emmy nomination and win.

Chadwick’s wife, Simone Ledward Boseman, accepted the award on her late husband’s behalf, she spoke to the crowd about how her late husband recorded the role amid his private health battle.

She said “what a beautifully aligned moment it really is that one of the last things he would work on would not only be revisiting a character that was so important to him and his career and to the world, but also that it be an exploration of something new”

Recall, Chadwick Boseman played the legendary Black panther, in one of Marvels most celebrated movies of all time. Chadwick died shortly after of Colon Cancer and passed on Aug 28, 2020.
