Chelsea has announced that defender Caleb Wiley has finalized a loan move to French Ligue 1 team Strasbourg for the entire season.
The Blues announced this on Sunday in an official statement on their website.
“Chelsea defender Caleb Wiley has completed a season-long loan move to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg. Good luck, Caleb,” Chelsea’s statement partly read.
Wiley signed with the West London Premier League club from Atlanta United a month ago and then played for the USA at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
For the 2024-25 season, the 19-year-old will further progress at Strasbourg.
