Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca will be absent from the dugout for their home fixture against Everton after receiving a one-match ban from England’s Football Association, the BBC reported on Monday.
The 45-year-old Italian was shown his third yellow card of the season for his celebrations following Pedro Neto’s stunning stoppage-time goal, which sealed a 2-1 victory over Fulham on Sunday.
The win lifted Chelsea into fifth place — the final Champions League qualification spot — ahead of Nottingham Forest on goal difference.
Forest, however, have the opportunity to reclaim fifth place if they avoid defeat against Tottenham later on Monday.

Maresca had previously been cautioned during matches against Newcastle and Bournemouth earlier in the season.
He will be eligible to return to the touchline for Chelsea’s next home match, a crucial clash against league leaders Liverpool on May 4, 2025.
In Maresca’s absence, assistant manager and former goalkeeper Willy Caballero is expected to take charge from the sidelines for Saturday’s match at Stamford Bridge.
