Brazilian winger Angelo Gabriel, who never made a competitive appearance for Chelsea, has joined Saudi Pro-League side Al-Nassr for £19.1 million.
The 19-year-old initially transferred to Chelsea from Santos for £13 million in July 2023 and spent last season on loan at Chelsea’s sister club, Strasbourg, where he made 24 appearances.
In October 2020, at just 15 years and 308 days old, Angelo became the youngest player in the history of Brazil’s top flight when he debuted for Santos against Fluminense at the Maracanã Stadium.
Chelsea have included a sell-on clause in the deal, and Angelo will now team up with Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané at Al-Nassr.
In other transfers, Daniel Podence has moved to Al-Shabab from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £5 million.
The 28-year-old Portugal winger had been with Wolves since 2019, making 108 appearances and scoring 16 goals. He spent last season on loan at his former club, Olympiacos.
The Saudi transfer window closed on Monday evening.
